Experience
I attended Rochester Community College where I acquired my associate degree in electronics engineering technology. I also acquired my bachelor's degree in writing from Empire State College and my master's degree in creative writing from National University. I currently offer my tutoring services in grammar, English, and math. Along with my academic career, I have worked as an adjunct instructor for the past 15 years. I have taught several classes, including composition I, composition II, trig, web design, and many other English courses. While in the process of going to school for my A.S., I tutored students in writing, grammar, and English at the on campus writing center. Writing is truly a love of mine, and my main goal is to pass on that love to my students. Because each student has their own learning style, I try to put together customized and tailored lesson plans for each individual. I tend to teach lessons from a number of different angles and approaches. I try to find out which angle or approach works best for my client and go from there. When I am not teaching, I can be found studying animals. I love animals of all types and share the love of animals with my young grandchildren.
